Rock Hard Power Spray - 1859

Lyrics:

He says: go get the big one, go eat the big fish
She guesses I’m just a sick fuck
- Nicotine lip-gloss
I need a kiss

Give me a dive
I wanna go get a dive
I wanna dive
…just went back from 1859

Don’t stop tellin’ me it’s too hot,
I gotta hove too much
I’ve got all that I wan’t
- But a hand-chopped block cuts in a mind

pt2 Spring Break Lake Havasu 93′ Ep16 KASR VIDEO

Posted on Nov 06, 2008 under mullet fish | No Comment

Highlights: Bobby Diablo & CM Vaughn host a rowdy bunch of drunken college kids on the lake! Beer, babes, boats, Canadians with more beer and the world famous London Bridge providing a historical backdrop. Trivia: there are 2 reasons Diablo and Vaughn are speaking with “irish dialects.” 1) They watched PATRIOT GAMES a bazillion times and 2) they’re drunk. Salude!

Kasrvnotebook: A Short-Long or mullet is a hairstyle that is short in the front, top, and sides, but long in the back (also referred to by a number of other names, some regional, including hockey hair, “ten ninety”, “millenium mullet” helmet hair, coupe longueuil etc.).It’s also described as “business in the front, party in the back”. The hairstyle was popular during the late 20th Century, from the early 1970s to the early 1990s. Mullets have been worn by males and females of all ages. The mullet is distinct from the rattail, which consists of a long, narrow “tail” of hair growing from the back of the head. According to urban legend, the mullet dates back to the 19th century, when fishermen wore their hair long in the back to keep warm — hence the term mullet. The Notes section of the Viking edition of Lydia Davis’s translation of Swann’s Way by Proust states “Jean Baptiste Prosper Bressant was a well-known actor who introduced a new hairstyle, which consisted of wearing the hair in a crew cut in front and longer in the back.

Also known as a mullet:

Two families of fish:
The “grey mullets” of the family Mugilidae, of which the most widely known species is the striped mullet, Mugil cephalus.
The “red mullets”, surmullets, or goatfish of the family Mullidae; in particular, the red mullets of the genus Mullus
Mullet (heraldry)
Mullet, a 2001 Australian film directed by David Caesar, starring Ben Mendelsohn.
The Mullet, the isthmus of the Mullet Peninsula in the barony of Erris, County Mayo in the west of Ireland.
The Mullets (TV series), a UPN sitcom.
Mullets (Comic Strip).
A person born in Arundel, West Sussex (due to the presence of the Mullet fish in the local river)
Mullet Creek, a stream in the Falkand Islands
Mullet River, a river in Wisconsin
The chief superindendant in the British television show A Touch of Frost

KASR VIDEO was a weekly 2 hour offshoot of the Arizona State University’s original alternative radio station that aired on public access in Phoenix. The music video show featured rarely scene and new music not in the “main stream.” Along with non-conventional interviews it became a guilty pleasure with the midnight party crowd. This is a condensed version with the music videos edited out. For more info on ASU Student radio goto: http://www.theblaze1260.com

MANFRED MANN’S EARTH BAND - SINGING THE DOLPHIN THROUGH

Posted on Oct 29, 2008 under dolphin | 18 Comments

another great song from the album “the roaring silence” (1976)…

enjoy…

official website :
http://www.manfredmann.co.uk/

lyrics

Farewell Plymouth, your morning cold
And grey
Is painting shadows on my thoughts
And we’re bound for nowhere

Joseph, I know you’re trusting me to see
You right
And I know you can’t stand the fighting
For one more night

Joseph, the mud gives way to coral
Somewhere

And the hours of light they last and last
We’ll see no more hostile flag there
From craft unknown we will have grown free
From sighing

Singing the dolphin through
Singing the dolphin through
Singing the dolphin through
Still waters
