Brown Trout And Steelhead Fishing In Milwaukee Harbor With Captain Eric Haataja

This fishing trip was a gift to my brother (TOMAHAWK) and his friend (Z-MAN). Tomahawk and Z-Man raised over 100,000 dollars for their church. They also provided countless hours of help to their church and community. This whole endeavor consumed 12 months of time. It was my pleasure to reward them for their hard work.
Now, let me tell you about Captain Eric Haataja (DA-HAAJ.) We hired this professional guide to catch some monster brown trout. We caught the biggest brown trout of our lives. And we caught them by the HORDES. We must have landed 25 fish. We lost a good portion too!!! We also caught some nice pike, steelhead (rainbow trout,) and walleye.
DA-HAAJ is a good man. He is also a VETERAN, which only adds to his awesome character. He gave us countless pointers/tips/intel and information. OH YA, DA-HAAJ will put you on some fish, but he will also teach you how to fish!!!

Lets get back to the story. We kept 1 steelhead per person and we kept 2 small brown trout since they were mortally wounded. The fish were taken to a local friend’s (G-MEISTER) restaurant. She prepared the steelhead to perfection. The meal was absolutely delicious. G-MEISTER also prepares Asian carp for us too!!! Thank you G-MEISTER and Z-MAN for the lovely dinner.
Please practice CATCH AND RELEASE FISHING. It is very reasonable to keep a small portion of fish, but in order to guarantee great fishing for our children, please try to release fish un-harmed (with the exception of Asian and common carp.) Kill as many of those as you can (preferably with a bow.)
