Ice Fishing pike - Adventures in filming
Posted on Aug 29, 2008 under pike fish |
A pike nearly gets my favorite rod out of the holder while I mess with the camera. By the time I get to it, the fish has the bait down the throat and is running. Then he turns, comes up and I think hes gone until he pops out of the hole. I drag him up and assess how deep he’s hooked, then the fight begins. Gotta love the pike. He was eventually unhooked and released with minimal damage. Barbless hooks save fish!
